Daniel Suelo, l'uomo che vive senza soldi (The Man Who Quit Money)

Tutto inizia nel 2000 quando Daniel Shellabarger decide di dire addio al denaro e al conto corrente, al documento d’identità, alla patente e persino al proprio nome, che da Shellabarger diventa semplicemente Suelo (terra in spagnolo). Ha 39 anni, viene da una buona famiglia cattolica e ha studiato all’università. Ora vive nelle grotte del deserto che circonda la città di Moab, nello Utah.

Since abandoning money in 2000 Daniel Suelo lives in caves in the canyonlands of Utah. He survives by harvesting wild foods and eating roadkill. He has no job, no bank account and does not accept government welfare. In fact, Suelo has no money at all. Suelo may have shunned all the trappings of modern American life, but he is not an isolationist.
